Zola G. Woodruff of McLoud, Oklahoma, was born April 23, 1916, in Higgins, Texas. She was the daughter of Jim and Lula Armstrong Everhart. She departed this life on August 15, 2003, in McLoud, Oklahoma, at the age of 87. Zola graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1933, and later married John Woodruff in 1946. She worked for Macklenburg - Duncan for 25 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church of McLoud. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband John; one brother Jim Everhart, sister Francis Everhart, grandchild Paul Glen Wallis, and a greatgrandchild Monica Mauldin. Survivors include daughter & son-in-law, Clydene & Robert Stanfield of McLoud, OK; son, Paul Wallis of Dallas, TX, son & daughter-in-law, Donnie & Nancy Wallis of Yanush, OK; brother & sister-in-law Jack & Sharon Everhart of OKC, OK; 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday, August 18, 2003, at the First Baptist Church of McLoud, McLoud, Oklahoma. Interment will be at Dale Cemetery, Dale, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Smith--Parks Funeral Service, Harrah, Oklahoma.
