Willie Hopcus Wajda was born on September 10, 1917, in Choctaw, OK and departed this life on Thursday, March 31, 2005, in Choctaw, OK. Willie, the daughter of Stach and Mary Bench Hopcus, was a resident of Choctaw, OK. She was a homemaker and worked at the Choctaw Caf. She was a member of St. Teresa?s Catholic Church, Harrah, OK. Willie loved canning, taking care of her animals, and making thin jelly. Willie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mack; one son, Stanley; two brothers, and seven sisters. Survivors include 2 nieces, Mary Ann Wood, Luther, OK, Julia Fisher, Harrah, OK, and many other relatives and friends. The Rosary service will be held at 9:45 A.M., with the Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, April 6, 2005, at St. Teresa?s Catholic Church, Harrah, OK, with Father Alan Loth officiating. Interment will follow at St. Teresa?s Catholic Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service, Harrah, OK.
