Wild Bill

March 1, 1966 — April 4, 2022

William "Bill" Lawrence Bingaman, 56, beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and poppy departed this life on Monday, April 4, 2022, at his home in Stroud, OK. Bill was born March 1, 1966, in Pomona, CA to William and Stella (Mudge) Bingaman. He grew up in Oregon before moving to Oklahoma where he met his love Koni Lee (Haraughty) Bingaman. In the early eighties they moved to Stroud and raised their five kids. He loved all his children and was very proud of the lives they grew up to live. He loved being a dad and having fun with his kids and grandkids. In recent years he experienced the joy of being “Poppy”, which was more like an actual nanny to his two precious great grandbabies. Bill was an excellent mechanic, who could always be found working on anything with a motor. He was involved with fixing, driving, or remodeling race cars, dirt bikes, old cars, dune buggies, trucks, and motorcycles. He had an enormous collection of individual treasures “random car and bike parts” that he lovingly referred to as “Koni’s junk”. He worked as a truck driver and was most recently driving for A&A Piping out of Cushing, OK. He adopted many nicknames such as his truck driving name “Rooster” and spiritual name “Wild Bill”. Motorcycles became a way of life and family heritage for Bill. It became a way that he bonded with his family. Most members of the family had a bike and they attended family bike rallies together. The memories of the fun times they had together over four generations will live on forever. Bill was preceded in death by his father William Lee Bingaman, son Willie Bernal, and twin grandson Adrian Ramsey. Those left behind include spouse Koni Bingaman of the home; son Michael Bernal and wife Stephanie of Stroud; daughter Elizabeth Ramsey of Cushing; daughter LaRay Gunter and husband Wiley of Stroud; daughter Rachael Bernal-Menefee and husband Ryan of Stroud; grandchildren Cole Bernal, Delainey Bernal, Makayla Ramsey, JJ Ramsey, Kilee Ramsey, Madison Ramsey, Baylee Blancarte, Camron Thornhill, Zeb Blancarte, Taylor Gunter, Summer Gunter, Hailey Thornhill, Hagen Thornhill, Wyatt Menefee, Zoey Bernal; great grandchildren Charlee Kirk, Tillie Kirk, mother Stella Bingaman; sisters Deloris Hyde, Susan Sorensen, and Rhonda Burkett. A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, April 11, 2022, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel.
