Verna Marie Koester

Verna Marie Koester, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born on May 27, 1917, in Raymond, Minnesota, and departed this life on March 15, 2004, in Edmond, Oklahoma, at the age of 86 years. Verna was the daughter of William and Caroline Birkemeyer Pfeiffer. She married Harry Koester on May 12, 1938 in Swanville, Minnesota. Verna was a homemaker and a member of the St. Paul?s Lutheran Church in Wellston, OK. Her parents, husband and son Harvey preceded Verna in death. Survivors include: Grandsons & granddaughters- in-law: Randy & Rae Lynn Koester of Chandler; Rex & Dawn Koester of Carney, OK; Granddaughter & grandson-in-law: Kim & Brent Kautzman of Richardton, ND; Sister: Arlene A. Arnold of Sauk Center, MN; One daughter-in-law: Yvonne Koester of Chandler, OK; 6 Great grandchildren; Other relatives and many friends.
