Vera Lavonne Warden

Vera LaVonne Warden was born on November 9, 1924, in Prague, OK, and departed this life on Wednesday, February 15, 2006, in Wellston, OK, at the age of 81. LaVonne, the daughter of Henry and Margie Stiffler Barton, was a long-time resident of Wellston. She graduated from Prague High School. She married John Robert Warden on January 4, 1946, in Holdenville, OK. He preceded her in death on December 24, 2001. LaVonne was a homemaker and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Her parents, three brothers, and two sisters also preceded LaVonne in death. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Henry F. and Margeann Warden of Bernice, LA; daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Jim Clapp of Wellston, Joan and Jim Conrad of Ohatchee, AL; 7 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
