Sylvia N. "Shorty" (Richardson) Harrison

Sylvia 'Shorty' N. Harrison was born January 9, 1926, in Chandler, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Tuesday, May 4, 2010, in Paden, Oklahoma, at the age of 84. Sylvia, the daughter of James Franklin and Lilly May (Ferguson) Richardson, was a resident of Paden. She graduated from Lake Valley High School in Lake Valley, Oklahoma. Sylvia married Elmer Luther Harrison on August 1, 1946, in Oklahoma City. He preceded her in death on August 16, 2009. She was a homemaker and also worked for Douglas Aircraft. Her parents; four sisters; and three brothers also preceded Sylvia in death. Survivors include, son, Harry Harrison of Prague; daughter and son-in-law, Regena and J.J. Moseley of Prague; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Services are private. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
