Steven David Franklin passed away surrounded by family on Friday, October 25, 2024 in Stroud, OK.

Steven was born to Shannon and Katherine (Brown) Franklin on Monday, October 28, 1963 in Pawnee, OK. Steven was a hard worker and worked from a young age and for many years in construction. The last 10 years he helped a local rancher as his ranch hand. Steven loved to attend Powwow, play softball and sing. He loved his grandkids very much and was proud of them, his family was very important to him.

Steven is preceded in death by his parents Shannon and Katherine Franklin and sister Jamie Franklin.

Steven leaves behind his wife Sylvestine Franklin; daughter Raiven Franklin; sons Thomas Franklin and Oliver Franklin; step children Holly Butler, Alicia Gibson, Natasha Watashe, Tommie Sue Watashe, Nicole Watashe, Nova Franklin and Anderson Watashe; his brother Douglas Franklin; his siters Michelle Jordan, Lisa Franklin, Shannon Franklin and Rita Franklin; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews; many more extended family and friends.

Services will be held at Sac & Fox Community Building with burial at Sac & Fox Tribal Cemetery in Stroud, OK. A guest book is available to share your memories on-line. Please visit www.ParksBrothers.net. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, Oklahoma.
