Sterlene Ann "Cookie" Bybee

Miss Sterlene Ann Bybee died on 3/18/23 at Baylor Scott and White Medical Center ICU in Temple, Tx after a short sudden illness.

Sterlene was born in Beaumont Tx. On October 21st, 1946, where she lived with parents Sterling & Sara Payton Bybee until they passed away. After she became a resident of Brenham State Living Center.

Known to family & friends as “Cookie”, she was a very social & happy natured person. Cookie was fond of music, books, movies, all social functions, and many family visits. Art was favorite & her acrylics on canvas were sold at the Bistro & Shops in Brenham and one was exhibited in Austin.

Cookie was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Frank Payton, longtime residents of Chandler OK; parents, Sterling Bybee & Sara Payton Bybee of Chandler.

She is survived by, Janie Mounce & husband Cecil, Joe Small & wife Camille, Emily Small, Sylvia Avery & Jason Riddle.

She was very much loved & will be missed by many who came to know her.❤️
