Sarah Louise Carney

Sarah Louise (Embery) Carney, of Prague, Oklahoma, passed away on April 23, 2025 at the age of 55. She was born on July 19, 1969, in Oklahoma City and grew up in Boley, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Nel Marie Embery.

Sarah married Larry Carney in 2016 after beginning their relationship in 2009. They enjoyed many happy years together. She loved reading, especially mystery and suspense novels, and she enjoyed cooking for her family. Sarah was known for being resourceful and for always making the best of any situation.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Nel Marie Embery; her brother, Rob; and her sisters, Priscilla and Lori Ann.

Sarah is survived by her husband, Larry Carney; her five children, Granny, Cierra, Bee, Earnest, and Erin; her sister, Dietra; her cousin Shirley, whom she loved like a sister; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends who will miss her dearly.
