Ovie Grover Webb

Ovie Grover Webb, 88, was born January 22, 1918 in Wetumka, OK. He was the son of Archie & Ada Walker Webb. He left this life on October 20, 2006 in Edmond, OK. Ovie retired from the Harrah School system where he worked as a custodian. He loved to hunt and fish. Ovie was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Bettie Webb; son, Grover Webb; 2 brothers, Cecil & Raymond Webb; and 2 sisters, Ruby Myers and Opal Pollard. Survivors include 3 daughters, Charlotte McGee, Eufaula, OK, Shirley Vannoy, Ardmore, OK, Mary Ruth Taylor, Oklahoma City, OK; 2 step-daughters, Betty Norton, Oklahoma City, OK, Linda Clevenger, Edmond, OK; 2 brothers, C.A. Webb, Oklahoma City, OK, Buford Webb, Oklahoma City, OK; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, October 23, 2006 at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK. Interment will follow at Wellston Cemetery, Wellston, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
