Medie “Colleen” (Sadler) Wisley Baker-O’Neal passed away at the age of 89 on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. Colleen, as she was known to family & close friends was born on Tuesday, October 15, 1935 in Stillwater, OK to Bob and Ruth Sadler.

Colleen married Jack Wisley on January 21, 1956 and had two sons, Tony Shane and Ricky Aaron and one daughter, Vodonna Elaine. In 1963 Jack and Colleen moved from Oklahoma City to a small farm seven and a half miles North of Prague to raise their family.

Her relationship with God was one of most importance. Colleen was very active in the Prague Assembly of God Church for 28 years where she and friends in the church baked thousands of Kolaches as a fund raiser at the annual Kolache Festival. As a homemaker for the most part of her life, she developed numerous skills and hobbies. She sewed many of her family’s clothes especially matching Easter and Christmas outfits as well as many outfits for the Kolache contests. For a time, she worked outside of the home as a seamstress at Blue Bell Wrangler in Prague. Colleen immensely enjoyed raising chickens, a huge garden, a small grape vineyard and an orchard of apples, pears and peaches. She took pride in her canning expertise as her fruits, vegetables, grape juice and jelly was enjoyed by family and friends alike.

Colleen was preceded in death by her parents Bob and Bonnie Sadler, AD and Ruth Fuller, husband Jack Wisley, husband Charles Baker, husband Bill O’Neal and grandson Colby Wisley.

Left to treasure her memory is her brother Weldon Sadler, sister Jan and husband Boby Walker, son Tony Shane and wife Debbie Kay (Bryant) Wisley, daughter Vodonna Elaine Leeson and son Ricky Aaron and wife Norma Denise (Brauner) Wisley, grandchildren Brandon Shane and his wife Elizabeth Wisley, Travis Shane Wisley, Julie Marie Leeson, John Casey and his wife Misty (McGowen) Leeson, Cody Aaron Wisley, Marty Aaron Wisley and great grandchildren Jaden DeShaun James, Bryce Alan Dean, Coleman Jayce Leeson, Serenity Storm Wisley and Rowan Grace Wisley.

As we remember Medie Colleen, we are reminded of how one life can impact so many. Her memory will be treasured and kept alive through the stories told, the wisdom passed down and the love she shared with those around her. She will be greatly missed but never forgotten.
