Maymie Elizabeth Smith

Maymie Elizabeth Smith was born on October 31, 1909, in Tahlequah, OK, and departed this life on Friday, October 28, 2005, in Glenpool at the age of 95. Maymie, the daughter of William and Alafair Buford Wilks, was a resident of Glenpool. She married Melvin Thomas Smith on January 3, 1927, in Wagoner. He preceded her in death on January 14, 1985. Maymie was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Her parents; one son, ?Son? Smith, and one daughter, Linda Tinker, also preceded Maymie in death. Survivors include her daughter, Lois Burchette of Glenpool and granddaughter, Tammy Brown of Tulsa.
