Mary Jane Van Worth-Harrison passed away peacefully on June 13, 2025, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 63. She was born on January 29, 1962, in Bakersfield, California, to father, Billy Jack Van Worth, mother, Betty Mae (Bruce) Jenkins and stepfather, Kelly Jenkins.
Mary spent her early years in California before her family moved to Prague, Oklahoma during her teenage years. She graduated from Prague High School in 1980 and went on to build a life deeply rooted in the community she came to love.
On May 4, 2016, she married the love of her life, Rex Alan Harrison. Together, they made their home in Prague and shared a beautiful bond filled with laughter, love, and countless adventures—especially outdoors. Mary Jane discovered her love for fishing through Rex, and it quickly became one of their favorite shared pastimes. Whether camping at the lake or tending to her colorful flower garden, she found joy and peace in nature.
Mary dedicated 30 years of her career to Wolverine and later worked five years at Central Plastics. She was known for her cheerful spirit, her knack for sewing and quilting, and her talent for finding the best bargains while shopping. She adored family holidays, where her generous heart and infectious smile lit up every room.
A devoted fan of Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Mary’s playful spirit was often reflected in her holiday décor, clothing, and home. She brought warmth, creativity, and a touch of magic to everything she touched.
She was preceded in death by her father, Billy Jack Van Worth. She is survived by her husband, Rex Alan Harrison; three brothers, Billy Van Worth and his wife, Becky, Clifford Bruce and his wife, Nancy, and John Bruce and his wife, Dre; two sisters, Beverly "Cookie" Wallace and Debbie Sczczepan; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
