Mary Lee Brown "Mim" was born in Pawnee, OK on November 23, 1942, and departed this life in Stroud, OK on March 8, 2022, at the age of 79. Mary Lee Brown was the daughter of Raymond and Marie (Harris) Tyner of Cushing, OK. Mary Lee was a longtime resident of Stroud and worked for Sac and Fox Nation for over 20 years in many different departments and became a foster parent. She was also well known for her cooking and baking skills. She was proud to have cooked fry bread for the bands "Foreigner" and "Def Leopard". Mary Lee married Aaron Brown in the early 60s. They lived in Cushing, OK and raised 6 children of their own, many foster children, and adopted family. Mary Lee is proceeded in death by both her parents, a brother, 3 sisters, and 2 sons: Joes Estes of Cushing, and Cody Tyner of Stroud. She is survived by 2 sons Jim Estes of Nowater, Jerry Brown and wife Stephanie of Prague; 3 daughters Tammy Brown of Rock Island, IL Anita Stevens of Davenport, and Brandi Brown and husband Mike Loveland of Stroud; 12 grandchildren Jimmy Estes and wife Nicki of Davenport, Dana Estes, Raven Estes and Anna Estes of Nowater, Laura Estes and Taylor Estes of Cushing, Dalton Brown of Stroud, Cherokee Brown of Drumright, Mitchell Loveland of Cushing, Shawn Brown of Stroud, Chloe Brown and Candance Brown of Prague; many great grandchildren; nieces and nephews; other adopted family; many friends; and her baby Coco. Christian services will be held at 6pm on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Sac and Fox Community Center and burial will at 10am on Friday, March 11, 2022, at the Sac and Fox Cemetery.
