Leroy Edward Givens

Leroy Edward Givens, age 86, was born January 2, 1921, in Ft. Scott, Kansas and he left this life on March 26, 2007, in Edmond, OK. He was the son of Floyd & Mary Kathryn Readinger Givens. Leroy served six years in the U. S. Army during World War II. He retired as a supervisor in the Armeture Department at Unit Parts. Co. Leroy enjoyed bowling, fishing and cooking outside. Leroy was preceded in death by his wife, Viola ?Bo? Elizabeth Givens; 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Survivors include his step-son & wife, George & Wilma Shelton, Edmond, OK; 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, March 30, 2007 at Arlington Memory Gardens, Midwest City, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
