Kimberlie Jean Austin

Kimberlie Jean Austin, a resident of Oklahoma City, was born on March 1, 1956, in Tulsa Oklahoma, and departed this life on Thursday, December 23, 2010, in Checotah, Oklahoma, at the age of 54. She graduated from Choctaw High School with the class of 1974. Kimberlie was an avid animal lover who always had a smile on her face and a twinkle in her eye She was a devoted caretaker of many with a strong sense of family ties. Kimberlie and her mother enjoyed an extremely close relationship her entire life. Survivors include her husband,Mark Austin of the home; her parents,Bonnie Jean and Ben T. Walkingstick of Chandler; son, Jeremy Scott Carlton of Butler; grandchildren, Brendon and Jacob Weaver of Edmond; brother and sister-in-law, Stan C. and Michelle Smith of Norman; special uncles,Johnny May of Russellville, and Stephen May of Russellville; special aunt, June May of Oklahoma City; and special step-sister, Judy Walkingstick of Stroud. A memorial services will be held on Monday, December 27, 2010 at 2:00 PM, at the First United Methodist Church in Chandler with Rev. Sungsu Hwang officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
