Joe Allen Williams

Joe Allen Williams was born on January 29, 1944, in Pettiquah, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Monday, July 28, 2008, in Edmond, Oklahoma, at the age of 64. Joe, the son of George Emmanuel and Effie Kate Stastny Williams, was a resident of Prague. He served his country in the United States Army, was a Surveyor for the State of Oklahoma, and was of the Baptist faith. His parents; sisters, Margie Loper, Frieda Dean; and brothers, Jimmie Williams and Don Williams preceded Joe in death. Survivors include brother and sister-in-law, Johnny and Joyce Williams of Guthrie; sisters, Joyce Galloway of Prague, Georgia Carpenter of Ada, Barbara Shackelford of Meeker; sister-in-law, Freda Williams of Norman; brother-in-law, Sonny Dean of Prague; numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
