Jessie R. Henry

Jessie R. Henry, age 89, of Harrah, OK, was born on January 27, 1918 in Bromide, OK. She was the daughter of Jim & Dellie Stone Jennings. She left this life on January 23, 2008, in McLoud, OK. Jessie was a waitress, worked for the Norman Public Schools as a janitor and she enjoyed playing bingo. Jessie was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Clarence Singleton and William Henry; daughter, Wanda Bennett; one brother, two sisters, and son-in-law, Wyman Conn. She is survived by 3 daughters & 2 sons-in-law,Joyce & Ralph Harris, Oklahoma City, OK, Betty Conn, Las Vegas, NV, Velda & Marvin Armstrong, Harrah, OK;1 sister,Rose McCord, Anadarko, OK; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, January 26, 2008 at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, Chickasha OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
