James Dean Baker

James Dean Baker “Jim” was born on February 14, 1935 in Bakersfield, CA to Weston and Louella Baker. He departed this life on Sunday, November 30, 2025 in Davenport, Oklahoma at the age of 90. Jim worked in the aircraft industry for 35+ years. He met and then married Lanea Pauline Isham in June of 1978. In 2012, they made their home in Davenport, Oklahoma. Jim loved to travel with Lanea visiting family, and would go above and beyond to help in any way necessary. Jim loved golfing, hunting, and playing shuffle board. Jim was Papa to everyone and strangers to none. He lived with a generous heart, a quick wit, and a love that made everyone around him feel like family. Jim is proceeded in death by his parents Weston and Louella Baker, and wife Lanea of 42 years. He is survived by his 5 children, 19 grandchildren, and 29 great grandchildren.
