Jack Roy Vann

Jack Roy Vann, age 89, was born on May 28, 1915, in Tulsa, OK, and departed this life on Wednesday, July 14, 2004, in Harrah, OK. Jack was the son of Ernest Edward & Dora Isabel Rutledge Vann. He worked at Tinker AFB as an Engineering Tech for 28 years. Jack was a long time member of the Harrah Lions Club. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, camping and a good cigar. Jack was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Virginia; one brother, Lester E. Vann; and one sister, Mary Margaret Taylor. Survivors include, 3 sons & 1 daughter-in-law, Jon Vann, Harrah, OK, Jim & Sarah Vann, Harrah, OK, Jerry Vann, Midwest City, OK; 1 daughter & son-in-law, Vicki Vann & Al Greene, Oklahoma City, OK; 2 brothers, Ernest E. Vann, Jr., Choctaw, OK, Richard F. Vann, New Boston, TX; 4 sisters, Faye V. Herron, Oklahoma City, OK, Patsy Ruth Barrett, Stroud, OK, Norma Lee Barrett, Muskogee, OK, Jessie Lorene Rayburn, Oklahoma City, OK; 6 grandchildren, Bobby, Brett, Jay, Matt, and Nancy Vann, Jill Jordan; 4 great-grandchildren, Madison & Emma Kaye Jordan, Aron & Emilie Vann and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, July 16, 2004, at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
