Ida Louise Sanders

Ida Louise Sanders, age 87, of McLoud, OK, was born October 21, 1925 in Meeker, OK. She was the daughter of Thomas Oscar & Aria Nancy Elizabeth (Palmer) White. She left this life on Thursday, November 8, 2012 in Shawnee, OK. Louise married W.O. Sanders on April 18, 1946, in McLoud, OK. She was a school cafeteria cook in Monahans, Texas. Louise was a member of the First Baptist Church of Newalla. She loved to garden and taking care of her flowers and grandchildren. Louise enjoyed fishing, traveling and going to blue grass festivals. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Melvin, two sisters, Lois Gladden and Gerldean Knox. Survivors include her husband, W. O. 'Doc' Sanders, McLoud, OK; 2 sons & daughters-in-law, Warren & Jill Sanders, Phoenix, AZ, Joel & Karen Sanders, Colorado Springs, CO; 2 daughters & son-in-law, Gloria Conner, Harrah, OK, Faye & Jessie Rhoden, Midwest City, OK; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Services will be 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 13, 2012, the First Baptist Church of Newalla, Newalla, OK, with Rev. Bill Derrick officiating. Interment will follow at Dale Cemetery, Dale, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
