Helen P. Skorkowsky

Helen P. Skorkowsky, age 81 of Harrah, OK, was born on February 25, 1926 in New York City, NY. She was the daughter of James and Mary Victoria Ludakus Parkomick. She left this life on July 31, 2007 in Midwest City, OK. Helen was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Harrah.She enjoyed playing bingo, watching O.U. Football and Basketball, crocheting and reading. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Homer Lee Skorkowsky; one brother and one sister. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, George and Suzette Skorkowsky of Harrah, three daughters and two sons-in law, Vicky & Lawrence Beitz of Harrah, OK, Kristine & Larry Whisenhunt of Stonewall, OK and Lorri Halvorson of Harrah, OK, 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Services will be held 10:00 AM Friday, August 3, 2007 at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK with Rev. Gary Eubanks officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith-Parks Funeral Service, Harrah, OK.
