Gregory Lamar Argrow, son of late Helen Clariece Woody and Essie Ree Argrow, was born September 30, 1962, in Stroud, Oklahoma. He was the only child of Clariece Woody. He attended Stroud High School graduating with the class of 1980. He attended University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond. He worked for many years at Corning Revere Outlet in Stroud, Oklahoma until 1999. He continued to work for Corning Revere company as a Training manager and traveled all over the United States. In 2000, he started at Dollar General as a Store manager and worked there for 18 years. At an early age he became a member of Jesus First Baptist Church where he was a dedicated member for many years. At Jesus First Baptist, he served faithfully as a treasurer for a while. As a result of his charming personality and sense of humor, he was loved by many. He departed this life Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at his home. He was preceded in death by his son Christopher Argrow; parents Clareice Woody and Essie Argrow; grandparents Cleveland and Artice Woody; grandparents Essie Ree Sr. and Ella B. Todd Argrow; sister Sheena Godwin. Greg is survived by his granddaughter Kambree Argrow; significant other Ronda Brookshire; stepdaughter Salonne Carter (Lynn), grandchildren Vishion Carter and Willow Triplett; 1 sister: Rachel Argrow Byrd (James) of Tampa, Florida.; 3 brothers: Jeff Argrow of Stroud, Oklahoma, Brian Argrow (Guendolyn) of Longmont, Colorado, John Argrow (Barbara) of Boulder, Colorado. “Just think of me as resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort as I’ve joined my loving son and my mother dear.”
