Gerry L. Mixon

Lois Louise 'Gerry' Mixon, age 86, of Harrah, OK, was born April 17, 1926, in Coalgate, OK. She was the daughter of Roy Levi & Jennie (Daffin) Ladd. She left this life on Saturday, February 23, 2013, in Oklahoma City, OK. Gerry graduated from Minco High School. She was a traditional housewife. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Red Rose Garden Club in Harrah. Gerry enjoyed gardening. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Loyd, son, Mike, 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include 2 sons & daughter-in-law, Gary Mixon, Midwest City,OK, Ron & Kristen Mixon, Harrah, OK; sister, Bernice Hord, Ukiah, CA; 7 grandchildren, Eric, Andy, Matt, Miles, Ryan, Jordan 2 great-grandchildren, Brittney & Kyndra and many other relatives and friends. Services will be 2:00 PM, Thursday, February 28, 2013, at First Baptist Church, Harrah, OK, with Dr. Doug Jones & Rev. Gary Eubanks officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
