Georgia M. Palmer

Georgia M. Palmer was born on February 10, 1911, in Dacoma, OK, and departed this life on Thursday, January 15, 2009, in Chandler, OK, at the age of 97. Georgia was the daughter of George W. and Ollie Humes Lindsay. She married Paul G. Palmer on January 9, 1943, in Greatbend KS. Georgia worked as a book keeper for the Kansas power company many years. She was of the Methodist faith. Georgia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and one grandson; Ted. Survivors include, Daughter & son-in-law, Helen & Ector Barnhart of Chandler, OK, Granddaughters, Max Gregory of Chandler, OK, Pamela Dyer of Chandler, OK, 9 great-grandchildren, 21 great-great-grandchildren, Other relatives and many friends. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2009 at 1:00 P.M., at Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater, OK with Brother Jim Morningstar officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler.
