Garland L. Wayland, Jr.

Garland L. Wayland Jr., Chandler, Oklahoma, resident, was born on August 24, 1941, in Chandler, and departed this life on April 18, 2006, in Stillwater, at the age of 64 years. Garland was the son of Garland L. and Lela Ryan Porter Wayland. He graduated from Chandler High School in 1958. Garland married Vivian Turk on January 25, 1964, in Cyril, Oklahoma. He served in the Oklahoma Army National Guard. Garland owned his own business and later retired as a construction supervisor. He was a member of the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. His parents and two sisters preceded Garland in death.
