Frances O. Murray

Frances O. Murray, long-time, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident, was born on June 26, 1911, in Sparks, Oklahoma, and departed this life on December 9, 2005, in Chandler at the age of 94 years. Frances was the daughter of Frank and Ora Allenbaugh Richardson. She married John Dee Murray on November 29, 1935, in Chandler. Frances graduated from Central State College in Edmond, in 1930. She went on to teach for 37 years in Sparks and Chandler schools and was named Teacher of the year in 1967. Frances was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Chandler, Sparks Eastern Star and Retired Teachers Association. Her parents and husband preceded Frances in death. Survivors include, One son, Richard Dee Murray of Eufaula, One daughter & son-in-law, Judith A. & Harold Crouch of Chandler, Grandchildren, Don Murray, Jeff Murray, Jon Crouch, Sherri Deisher and spouses. Eleven great-grandchildren. More relatives and many friends.
