Evelyn Bird Branson

Evelyn Bird Branson, age 88, of Harrah, OK, was born on August 4, 1920, in Fowler, Colorado. She was the daughter of Homer & Daisy Batchelor Spencer. Evelyn left this life on December 26, 2008, in Midwest City, OK. Evelyn had a wonderful memory, she knew everyone''s birthday and anniversary and could cook like no one else. She loved old county & western stars, music and western films and watching rodeos. Family was the most important thing in her life. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Ray & James Spencer. Survivors include 3 sons & 2 daughters-in-law, Donald L. & Jackie Branson, Newalla, OK, Wayne & Donna Branson, Idaho, Thomas Branson, Harrah, OK; 2 brothers, Donald Spencer, Arizona, Bill Spencer, California; sister, Dorothy Barrick, California; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December, 30, 2008, at Memory Lane Cemetery, Harrah, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
