Edward Charles Kimery was born on August 29, 1918, in Prague, OK, and departed this life on Monday, September 13, 2004, in Norman, Oklahoma, at the age of 86. Ed, the son of Jake Francis and Ethel Herndon Kimery, was a life-long resident of Prague. He was a graduate of Prague High School with the class of 1940. He served his country during World War II with the United States Army. He married Charliene Ziegler on March 15 1946, in Wetumka. Ed was an electrician assisting his brothers Harold and Clifford Kimery in their electrical shop. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Prague, the American Legion, and the Prague Golf Club. An avid golfer, Ed especially enjoyed instructing golf. He also enjoyed crafting jewelry and made wedding rings for many young couples. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Charliene of the home; daughter, Sara and Sam Jarvis of O?Fallon, MO; grandsons, Scott Jarvis and his wife Tonya of Skiatook, and Matthew Jarvis of St. Louis, MO; sisters-in-law, Margie Kimery of Mustang and June Marler of Norman; brothers-in-law, Jeral Ziegler of Shawnee and Jack Ziegler and his wife Elaine of Ft. Worth, TX; great-grandchildren, Caitlin Ray and Kimery Jarvis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
