Edith M. Dickens

Edith M. Dickens was born on October 26, 1920, in Indianola, Oklahoma, and departed this life on May 26, 2014, in Meeker, Oklahoma, at the age of 93. Edith, the daughter of Peter and Beulah Myers, was a long-time resident of the McAlester area. She was married to Tilden Dickens until his death in 1998. Following his death, she moved to Prague. She was a homemaker. Her parents and husband preceded Edith in death. Survivors include her son, Nathaniel Dickens of Prague, other family and friends. A Committal service will be held on Friday, May 30, 2014, at 12:00 PM at Fort Gibson National Cemetery in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
