Doris Jean Slaughter

Doris Jean Slaughter, a long-time Stroud, Oklahoma, resident was born on April 17, 1927, in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, and departed this life on January 28, 2004, at her home near Stroud, Oklahoma, at the age of 76 years. Doris was the daughter of Del and Ina Raymer McCullough. She married Oren E. Slaughter at Atlanta, Missouri on May 29, 1948; she was a homemaker and very active member of the First Christian Church in Stroud, Oklahoma. For a number of years, Doris and her husband were involved in the American Association of Retired Persons'' program. Her parents, husband have precede Doris in death. Survivors include:Two daughters & sons-in-laws:Jennifer & Michael Brown of Jenks, Ok Susan & Jerral Dukes of Perkins, Ok.One brother & sister-in-law:Robert & Linda McCullough of St. Charles, Missouri.
