Doris Fern Davis

Doris Fern Davis, age 88, of Midwest City, OK, was born October 22, 1922, in Duke, OK. She was the daughter of James S. & Edith G. (Walker) Sanders. She left this life on Monday, November 29, 2010, in Midwest City, OK. Fern was a wonderful homemaker and enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading and caring for her family. She was a member of the Choctaw Church of Christ, Choctaw, OK. Fern was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Russell Davis, four sisters, Marie DeValle, Gail Gibson, Geton Luckett, a baby sister and granddaughter, Amy Eskue. Survivors include 2 sons & daughters-in-law, Duane & Midge Davis, Harrah, OK, Tim & Brenda Davis, Houston, TX; 2 daughters & sons-in-law, Kay & Dwayne Cleveland, Midwest City, OK, Kelly & Kevin Ballard, Colorado Springs, CO; 2 sisters, June Sanders, Sayre, OK, Reba Smith, Glendale, AZ; 11 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, December 2, 2010, at Choctaw Church of Christ, Choctaw, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
