Debra Vivian Nolan was born on September 16, 1954, in Pittsburg, California, to Archie Nolan and Loretta Brewer. She spent her childhood in California, graduating from Pittsburg High School before moving to Oklahoma to continue her education at Rose State College, where she earned an Associate’s Degree in General Studies.
Debra went on to build a long and fulfilling career at Tinker Air Force Base, faithfully serving as a Supply Technician for 28 years. Outside of her work, she was a woman of many gifts. She had a deep love for crafts, was a talented pianist, and found great joy in teaching her Sunday School class at her church, Sunnylane Baptist. Her gentle spirit and creativity touched the lives of all who knew her. By her side through life’s ups and downs was her beloved dog, Gracie, her loyal and cherished companion.
Debra is survived by her sister, Ann Carpenter Gray, and her husband, Billy; her sister, Pam Axton, and her husband, Rick; her nephew, John Carpenter, and his wife, Tina; her niece, Krista Grooms, and her husband, Jonathan; her nephew, David Axton, and his wife, Rebecka; and her faithful dog, Gracie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie Nolan and Loretta Brewer; her niece, Carrie Axton Brown; and an infant nephew, Jason Mark Carpenter.
Debra will be remembered for her kindness, creativity, faithfulness, and the love she shared so freely with her family, friends, and all who were blessed to know her.
