David Lee Falconer

August 28, 1936 — February 2, 2017

David Lee Falconer was born on August 28, 1936, in Haskell County, and departed this life on Thursday, February 2, 2017, in Midwest City, Oklahoma, at the age of 80. David, the son of Leared T. and Alva E. (Tom) Falconer, was a resident of Prague. He married Florence Melson on October 26, 1973 in Amarillo. David enjoyed basketball, hunting and fishing and attending his grandchildren’s events. David’s parents and one grandchild preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Florence Falconer of the home; sons and daughters-in-law, Ronnie Wayne Falconer of Shawnee, David Robert and Patty Petty of Cashion, and Donald Wayne and Becky Lippert of Edmond; daughters Eva Marie of Denver, and Caroline Rogge of Stroud; brothers and sisters-in-law, Norman and Barbara Falconer of Dallas, Donald and Catherine Falconer of Moore, and Ronald and Sharon Falconer of Stigler; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Bill Johnnie of Keota and Joyce and Hershel Parker of Prague; 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild and many other family and friends. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 2:00 PM, at Old Cache Cemetery in Keota with David Petty officiating. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
