David J. ?D.J.' Smith was born on June 25, 1951, and departed this life on Thursday, February 5, 2004, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 52. D.J., the son of Ben J. and Dorothy Bernice Lee Smith, was a resident of Ardmore and worked as a truck driver. His parents, grandparents, and one brother preceded D.J. in death. Smith, Jr., of Georgia; daughters, Terra Kay Smith of Bakersfield, CA, Angela Van Harn of Grand Rapids, MI, Renae Smith of Prague, OK; stepchildren,Christopher Ponder of Ardmore, OK, Cody Ponder of Ardmore, OK, Jessica Ponder, Ardmore, OK; sisters & brothers-in-law, Delilah & Terry Morehead of Paden, OK, Debbie & Allen Caton of Meeker, OK, Linda & David Taylor of Kellyville, OK; brother & sister-in-law, Douglas & Regina Smith of Paden, OK; and 2 grandchildren.
