Dan Newman

Daniel Keith Newman, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born on June 19, 1932, in Wewoka, Oklahoma, and departed this life on March 12, 2005, at his home near Chandler, Oklahoma, at the age of 72 years. Dan was the son of James Palmer and Ellen Hooper Newman. He worked for the Wewoka Fire Department before joining the United States Army in 1953. On his return he became an Oklahoma Highway Patrolman and retired with over twenty-five years of service. He married Kathy Brown on December 6, 1986 in Chandler, Oklahoma. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Chandler, Oklahoma.
