Prague

Cole Scott Rodriguez, of Prague, Oklahoma, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the age of ten years. Cole was born on May 26, 2014 in Oklahoma City. Cole was the son of Nicole Lynn (Cowperthwaite) and Daniel Ryerson and Jeffrey Rodriguez. Cole grew up in Prague and attended Prague School and was in the fourth grade at Prague Elementary School.

While Cole was only with us for a short time, he made a long and lasting impact on many. Cole had two favorite places to be. He loved being home with his family and he loved being at school with his teachers and classmates. Cole had a way of making everyone laugh and his own unique way of communicating. Cole loved to watch sports of any kind, if sports were on, he wanted to watch. He especially loved to watch golf and bull riding. Cole’s favorite time of the year was storm season, where he could regularly watch his favorite meteorologist, David Payne, cover the severe weather throughout the state.

Cole was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Cowperthwaite; his great-grandfather, Jerry Smith and his uncle, Tator Howard.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Nicole Lynn and Daniel Ray Ryerson; his father, Jeffrey Rodriguez; four sisters, Ashley Davis, Amber Davis, Cali Rodriguez and Zoey Ryerson; his brother, Dain Ryerson; his grandparents, Lisa Cowperthwaite, James and Cindy Howard; his great-grandmothers, Pat Decker and Cheryl Smith and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, family and friends.
