Chesteen 'Tina' Dawkins was born on September 5, 1945, in Cushing, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Wednesday, May 4, 2011, in Meeker, Oklahoma, at the age of 65. Tina, the daughter of Chester Herring and Zella Delores (Goforth) Ward, was a resident of Shawnee. She married Doyle Dawkins on February 29, 1964 in Fort Polk, Louisiana. Doyle preceded Tina in death on May 16, 1993. Tina was a homemaker. Her parents and one brother also preceded Chesteen in death. Survivors include daughters, Angie Dawkins of Meeker, Lori Dawkins of Prague; brothers, Micky Ward of Shawnee, Jerry Ward of Shawnee; 3 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; significant other, Randy McEroy of Shawnee.
