Catherine F. Glimp

Catherine F. Glimp was born on August 5, 1910, in South Carrollton, KY, and departed this life on Thursday, March 9, 2006, in Prague, OK, at the age of 95. Catherine, the daughter of Arthur Peay and Lillie E. Speer Fentress, was a long-time resident of Prague. She married Ernest L. Glimp on September 23, 1929, in Tecumseh, OK. He preceded her in death on April 17, 1981. Catherine was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Prague. She was a long-time volunteer for the Prague Hospital Auxiliary as a ?Pink Lady.? Her parents; one son, Larry Glimp; and one sister also preceded Catherine in death. Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Jay Hutchens of Prague; daughter-in-law, Connie Glimp; 5 grandchildren, Lori Ann and Michael Marks, Russell and Lori Glimp, Darci Hutchens of Lincoln, NE, Catey and Mark Moring of Norman, and Christina Glimp; and 5 great-grandchildren.
