Carlos Buel Johnson, age 78, of McLoud, OK, was born on September 17, 1929 in Boston, Arkansas. He was the son of Charlie & Maggie Marie Maier Johnson. He departed this life on Saturday, August 2, 2008, in McLoud, OK. Carlos was a born-again Christian. He worked as a finish carpenter in residential construction and had several scroll designs patented. Carlos enjoyed gardening, fishing and hunting. Carlos was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Norma Jean, 3 brothers, 4 sisters and 2 grandsons. Survivors include his wife, Mary Johnson, McLoud, OK; son, Edward C. Johnson, McLoud, OK; 3 daughters, Vickie C. Lykins, McLoud, OK, Angela R. Richerson, McLoud, OK, Oneta J. Johnson, McLoud, OK; step-children, Roger A. Johnson, Springdale, AR, Angela K. Sisson, Stricklen, AR, Tonya Hunt, Hindsville, AR, Stephon Johnson, Grandview, MO; 2 brothers, Argus Johnson, AR, Alvie Johnson, AR; 3 sisters, Rose Johnson, AR, Nilene Drain, AR, Nadine Dennis, MO; 5 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
