Cameron Paul Branum

Cpl. Cameron P. Branum, 23, Newalla, OK passed away on Dec 27, 2012. He is survived by wife, Timi Anne (Cameron) Branum, sons Gavyn, Ayden, and Presley (due in April). Cameron loved his country and in doing so, enlisted in the Marine Corps in July 2007. He completed tours in Cuba, Japan, Haiti, and Afghanistan, before taking his current assignment at Parris Island, SC where he passed away. Cpl. Branum is also survived by his parents Gregory and Jan (Hopper) Branum and sister Rachel of Newalla. Grandparents William and Earline Branum, Arkansas, 5 uncles, 12 cousins and numerous other family members. He is proceeded in death by grandparents Donald and Violet Hopper. In lieu of flowers family request donations be made to Wounded Warriors Project or Cleft Palate Foundation. Services will be held at 2pm, Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at the Asa Smith Memorial Chapel, Harrah, OK. Interment will follow at Dale Cemetery, Dale, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
