He retired from Tinker Air Force Base and was a member of Burnett Mission Church in Paden, OK Billy Joe married Willie Pearl Watts on October 24, 1952, in Okemah. She preceded him in death on January 22, 2002. His parents, E.C. ?Dooley? and Helen Pauline Roberson Collins, and a brother, Junior Collins, also preceded Bill in death. Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Joe Michael and Connie Collins of Prague, Roger and Jenny Collins of Prague; daughters and sons-in-law; Oletta and Gary Opela of Prague, Charlotte and Ronnie VanBrunt of Prague; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ralph and Ida Mae Collins of Paden, James and Sheila Collins of Eufaula; sister, Juanita Kendrick of Del City; sister-in-law, Jewel Collins of Pawhuska; and 14 grandchildren.
