Betty Lou Willis

Betty Lou Willis was born on May 20, 1934, in Enid, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Thursday, December 20, 2012, in Meeker, Oklahoma, at the age of 78. Betty , the daughter of Fred and Violet (Holt) Branham, was a resident of Meeker. She married Arthur 'Sog' Willis on May 13, 1950, in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. Betty was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Meeker. Her parents; son, Mike; two brothers, and one sister preceded Betty in death. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Sog Willis; daughters and son-in-law, Nita and Gail Martin of Meeker, Katherine Gouker of Prague, Joyce Flowers of Meeker; brother and sister-in-law, Henry and Peggy Branham of Enid; sister and brother-in-law, Elsie and Robert Fleig of Enid; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2012 at 1:30 PM, at Mammoth Baptist Church in Meeker with Rev. Mike Hazelwood officiating. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Meeker.
