Betty Jean Wiley

Betty Jean Wiley was born on May 12, 1930, in Rossville, OK, and departed this life on Friday, September 2, 2005, in Shawnee, OK, at the age of 75. Betty, the daughter of Wallace D. and Virgie Cornelia Honeycutt Armitage, was a resident of Meeker and was a homemaker. She married Gilbert Wiley on January 24, 1947, in Lincoln County. He preceded her in death in 1999. Her parents; one sister; and one daughter, Linda Guptill; one son-in-law, Michael Austin; and one granddaughter, Barbara Guptil, also preceded Betty in death. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Louis and Bonnie Wiley of Meeker; daughters and son-in-law, Loretta and Michael Baptista of Meeker, Debra Austin of Meeker; son-in-law, Richard Guptil of Shawnee; 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be at the Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel in Meeker.
