Benny Lee Bell

Benny Lee Bell was born on June 11, 1937, in Prague, Oklahoma, and departed this life on Sunday, August 3, 2008, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, at the age of 71. Benny, the son of Joe Conard and Maggie Mae Martin Bell, was a resident of Norman, Oklahoma. He married Clara Corene McKay on October 15, 1981 in Gainesville, Texas. Benny retired from the Oklahoma Department of Transportation where he worked as a computer liaison. His parents preceded Benny in death. Survivors include wife, Clara of the home; daughters and son-in-law, Pamela and Eduardo Martinez of Austin, TX, Deborah Bennett of Midwest City; step-daughter, Michelle Johnson and her husband Dean of Norman; step-sons, David Hall of Tulsa, Mark Hall of Sperry; brother and sister-in-law, Jvon and Arlene Bell of Shawnee; sister, Mary Anne Romberg of Shawnee; 3 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2008 at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel, at 10:00 AM in Prague with Rev. Fred Greening officiating. Interment will follow at the Prague Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
