April Lynette Wheeler

April Lynette Wheeler was born on April 8, 1973, in Oklahoma City, and departed this life on Friday, April 21, 2017, in Meeker, Oklahoma, at the age of 44. April, the daughter of Billy and Bertha (Dorsey) Smith, was a long time resident of Meeker. She attended business college and cosmetology school. April was a member of Family of Faith in Meeker. She was an avid video gamer, loved gardening and her pit bulls. In her trials April was “forever strong”. April’s grandparents, Paul and Clara Dorsey preceded her in death. April is survived by her mother: Bertha Lucille Smith of Meeker; father: Billy Elmer Smith of Oregon; son: Andrew and Christina Smith of Sparks; Daughters:Victoria Smith and Alana Wheeler; grandchildren: Roman, Kayden and Amon; and many other family and friends. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 2:00 PM, at Family of Faith in Meeker with Dr. Sam Matthews officiating.
