Ancil Lou "A.L." Hatcher

Ancil Lou 'A. L.' Hatcher was born on January 12, 1933, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and departed this life on Saturday, February 6, 2010, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 77. A. L., the son of Charles Thomas and Rosa Ella (Leeper) Hatcher, was a resident of Meeker. He graduated from high school in Council Bluffs, Iowa and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. A. L. married Lequita Mae Burnett in 1960 in Amarillo, Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; six brothers; three sisters; and one son, Ancil, Jr. Survivors include sons and daughter-in-law, Odell and Laura Hatcher of Meeker, Jason Hatcher of Oklahoma City; daughter, Erin Hatcher of Oklahoma City; brothers and sister-in-law, Merlin and Annie Hatcher, Harold Hatcher; numerous grandchildren. Services are private. Arrangements by Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Prague.
