Alfred Cecil Andrews

Alfred Cecil Andrews, age 98, of Harrah, OK, was born on October 1, 1909 in Monterrey, Mexico. He was the son of James & Dolores Ruedas Andrews. He departed this life on Saturday, September 20, 2008 in Harrah, OK. Alfred grew up in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was a fireman for the city of San Antonio, Texas and he worked for the U. S. Postal Service. He also delivered medical supplies for a company in California for over 20 years and was a volunteer policeman in LaVerne, California. Alfred married Icela Gallardo on September 25, 1993 in Victorville, California. Alfred was a very loving person and a wonderful husband, father, step-father and grandfather. Alfred was preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Survivors include his wife, Icela Andrews, Harrah, OK; son, Albert Andrews, Texas; 3 daughters & 2 sons-in-law, Cecilia & Charles Bleckmann, Ohio, Charlotte & Wolfgang Ruhl, Texas, Merry Ann Haffman, California; step-son, Louis Uribe, California; 2 step-daughters, Elizabeth Faria, California, Mayra Chavez, California; sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Aisa & Russell Crouch, Newalla, OK; numerous grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday September 24, 2008 at Dale Cemetery, Dale, OK, with Chaplain Danny Daniels officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
