Albert Charles Peterson

Albert Charles Peterson, a life-long Stroud, Oklahoma, resident, was born in Stroud on June 1, 1920, and departed this life in Stroud on Tuesday, August 1, 2006, at the age of 86 years. Albert was the son of Nels August and Nellie Maude Gregory Peterson. He retired from the United States Post Service in Stroud, owned and operated Peterson Grocery, was a farmer, and a member of the Freewill Baptist Church. He married Goldie Maxine Earp in Chandler, Oklahoma, on October 12, 1940. She preceded him in death on February 1, 1993. His parents and one brother also preceded Albert in death. Survivors include one son, Charles Peterson of Stroud; one brother, Alvin Tom Peterson of Oklahoma City; one sister, Nola Faye Maize of San Marcus, CA; four grandchildren, Charles A. Peterson of Stroud, Jorden M, Allison D, Rusty J of Davenport, OK; others relatives and friends.
