Ada Brown, long-time, Chandler, Oklahoma, resident was born on February 25, 1911, in Claiborne County, Tennessee, and departed this life in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, on September 5, 2007, at the age of 96 years Ada was the daughter of Howard and Maud Keck Peace. She married William Brown on November 15, 1929, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Ada was a cook for the Chandler Public Schools for many years. She enjoyed gardening and was a member of the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall in Chandler. Her parents, husband, daughter, Linda; five brothers and one sister preceded Ada in death. Survivors include, One son, Robert D. Brown of Lansing, MI, Four daughters, Joy Kuykendall of Broken Arrow, OK, Lucille Wiley of Rose Hill, KS, Billie Brown of Hobbs, NM, Evelyn McDaniel of Claremore, OK, 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren other relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 8, 2007, 2:00 PM, at Parks Brothers Funeral Chapel, in Chandler, Oklahoma, with Brother Jeff Cobb officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Chandler. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Chandler, Oklahoma.
